Our Heritage

The Story of Kahari

Chapter One — The Lifeline

For as long as anyone can remember, the coconut palm has been woven into Maldivian life. It has fed us, sheltered us, and healed us, becoming part of the rhythm of everyday life.

Chapter Two — A Story, Not a Commodity

The world has welcomed the coconut in a thousand forms. To us, it is heritage first. Kahari exists to tell that part of the story, and to carry it beyond the islands.

Chapter Three — The Harvest

Picked at their peak.

Across the island groves, from the first light over the water to the last of the afternoon heat, our hands work the way they always have, climbing, reading, and choosing each coconut at the peak of its ripeness.

Chapter Four — Sun-Dried into Copra

Under the same sun, the meat is gently lifted from the shell and left to cure into copra, slowly and cleanly, the way the islands always have. Nature works in its own time, keeping the aroma, the integrity, and the richness whole, until a single careful press yields pure coconut oil.

Each product carries the essence of the islands.
