For centuries, the coconut palm has been the lifeline of the Maldivian people — food, shelter, craft, and healing. No part of the tree is wasted; every frond, husk, and shell has its place in island life.
At Kahari, we honour this tradition by bringing the coconut back to global attention — not as a commodity, but as a story. A story of patience, of sun and salt, of hands that have kept the same craft alive across generations.
"Nature does the work slowly, and naturally."
Our collection begins with fully ripened, mature coconuts, carefully harvested at their peak from island groves across the Maldives. The meat is gently separated and sun-dried into copra under hygienic, controlled conditions.
This traditional drying process preserves the integrity, aroma, and richness of the coconut. Once dried, the copra is carefully pressed to extract pure coconut oil — clean, nourishing, and deeply rooted in island heritage.
